69 has partway been restored,needs finishing.New floor and trunk flooring,chassie has been sand blasted and coated.New a-arm bushing and ball joints,front brakes have benn converted to power disk brakes with slotted drilled zink coated rotors and new brake lines.Has a 355 with all the trimmings,chrome 650 holley with electric choke,aluminum intake.the motor is a 69 model with original 186 casting heads(cammel hump heads)2.o2 vales.Morroso oil pan,forged pistons,need rocker arms set from new cam that was installed but i wasn't able to finish the job due to having to leave town. Needs a rear end.has new rear quarters,racing seats,new rear and front bumpers,rachet shifter .have over 8 thousand invested in this car.but it needs to be finished.check out pictures!the 74 is just for parts i have no title for it!

Have all parts for it to complete entire car and have put back together! Including brand new still in the boxes front grill and bumpers that were ordered that all go with the cars! BOTH must go as a pair!

GM recalls 8,500 Chevrolet Malibu models for rear suspension glitch

According to a letter from General Motors to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, flaws in the build process of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu have led to the recall of 8,519 cars. Units built between December 6, 2011 and January 15, 2013 may have been assembled with rear suspension cradles that had insufficient torque applied to certain bolts. That out-of-spec assembly could lead to issues ranging from slight noises to a loss of vehicle control.
The problem was first noticed in December of last year by a GM test fleet driver and eventually tracked back to the improperly torqued bolts on the suspension cradle assembled through July 2012 by a supplier located not too far from the Malibu's Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly Plant. Since an official NHTSA recall notice has not been issued yet, it isn't clear whether or not Detroit-built Malibus were the only ones affected (the 2013 Malibu is also built at GM's Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Kansas). Dealers will fix the problem by inspecting vehicles for proper torque specs, retightening if not within specs and, in some cases, perform a rear-wheel alignment.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22.
