Up for bid is a 1963 Chevy Nova that was taken in on trade for a motorcycle so I will describe the car the best I can. The car has an older restoration and paint job. The paint is not perfect and does show some age. The interior is in pretty good shape also, It looks like who ever put the time in on the car changed the seats as you can see in the pictures. They look to be 1990's high back buckets and show some wear. Time was spend under the car installing frame ties and cleaning up. The underside is undercoated and is very clean. The engine is a 350 V8 and the transmission is a TH350. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was a mild 355 and the transmission was also worked on. The car runs out well and the transmission shifts are stiff. The car has a large gear in the rear axle and I was told it was a 4:11 but is an open carrier. I have taken a lot of pictures to show the condition so please review them. If you have any questions just ask and I will try to answer quickly. The car has a CLEAR Missouri title and it is in my hand. Pick Up Is Preferred But If You Want To Ship The Car You Can Make The Arrangements And I Will Help Get It Loaded.

Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.
Subprime financing on the rise in new car sales, leasing too
Fri, 07 Dec 2012We all remember the financial crisis that began several years back. At its core was a splurge of subprime lending for housing loans. The housing bubble burst, triggering a collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market. Apparently, those types of loans still exist in the automotive industry, and the market share for these types of "nonprime, subprime, and deep subprime," loans has grown 13.6 percent compared to the third quarter a year ago.
According to an Automotive News report, high-risk lending expanded to 24.8 percent of total loans in Q3, up from 21.9 percent for this time last year. As this level increased, average credit scores of borrowers dropped to 755, down from 763 a year ago. In that time, the average financing amount increased $90 per vehicle, to $25,963.
At 818, Volvo maintains the highest per-owner credit score, while Mitsubishi has the lowest, at 694. The highest rate of borrowers was at Toyota, with 14 percent of the market, followed by Ford with 13.1 percent and Chevrolet at 11.1.

That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
