Selling My 86 Monte Carlo SS that is mostly all Original. Car runs and drive great and overall is very nice. Exterior looks good other then some rock chips on hood and some minor paint chipping on lower quarter panels from rocks and small chip on rear bumber, and the under body and truck are in great shape. The striping was replaced not to long ago but he did't do a great job so some of its pealing so could be replace if your pickie. Interior is mint and is a non smoker and looks and smells new. Tires are new oil change was just done and air blows cold. I bought this car from a family member that has owned it for years and I just don't have the time to enjoy it. Car is not perfect but would be a great one to take to shows. I have the Factory radio (WORKS) which you can see in pictures. I have a clean title 2 keys and has a nice aftermarket alarm with a kill switch and org owners man. Please email or call me if you have any questions. Thanks

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
