Very Very Rare 1973 Chevy Monte Carlo. This car has all original matching numbers and 350 engine. This has been a car that has never seen the rain or snow and only driven about 2 times a month. It has been babied. Take advantage of the opportunity to own one of the Cleanest Chevy's in the country. 26" Lexani tires and rims have rarely been driven on and have plenty of tread left. The car has a custom undercarriage as well as custom driveshaft and rear end to fit the rims and pull them. The transmission has been rebuilt to handle the extra load with the bigger rims and tires. I have all paperwork on the car and work that has been done. Custom Silver paint job with silver ghost rally stripes gives it a very distinct look. Edel-brock from top to bottom under the hood. The sound system is incredible with 2 Kicker 12' L7 top of the line series with a custom box pushed by a massive amplifier with bass knob. The photos don't do this car any justice. The only reason I am parting ways is because I don't have enough time to drive the car.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014 14:16:00 EST

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

"Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]

Thu, 07 Feb 2013 19:30:00 EST

For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
