SURVIVOR! 6,300 original mile car - 1972 Chevelle Malibu 2 Door Coupe. This Chevelle is well equipped and has documentation etc to support its authenticity. Build sheet, protecto plate, copy of the original title, owners manuals etc available. I recently purchased this from the 2nd owner who had it 10 years and put 300 miles on it with intentions that I don’t think I can carry forward given the nature of this car. Car features a small block 350 (4bbl) with 350 automatic transmission & 12 bolt rear end. Factory bench seat, AC, optional round gauge pods (factory on SS models) with full instrumentation to include tilt steering column, tach & clock, AM 8 track tape player (works perfectly & sounds remarkably good). I don’t think I can bring myself to make the changes I considered when I made the purchase. No doubt someone who wants an incredibly well maintained original will buy this car. Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.

GM dealers unhappy about pickup prices
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The backlash is beginning. Following General Motors' price hike of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra last week, dealers across the country are expressing their ire over increasing prices in the face of rebates and discounts on trucks from Ford and Ram.
Speaking to Automotive News, Sam Pilato, the general manager at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL, Silverados are "selling very poorly." W. Carrol Smith, the president of Monument Chevrolet in the heart of truck country, Texas, said, "[GM's] position is that the vehicle stands on its own and it doesn't need a bigger rebate. That's not what the market is telling us."
According to AN, that's the general attitude amongst Chevy and GMC dealers across the country, where the twin pickups are getting butchered in sales by competitors offering up to $9,000 off their sticker prices. Part of the problem for GM is that its trucks are arriving on the market near the end of the current F-150's lifecycle, a fact that Ford has taken advantage of.
