I PURCHASED THIS CAR ON 11/17/2010 WITH 25,202 MILES AND HAVE SINCE PUT ANOTHER 38,000 MILES ON IT INCLUDING 2 TRIPS TO DISNEY AND IT ALWAYS PERFORMS FLAWLESSLY. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR WARNING LIGHTS. OIL CHANGED EVERY 5000 MILES. WOULD DRIVE IT ANYWHERE. I'M AVERAGING OVER 29 MILES TO THE GALLON AND THE 4 CYCLINDER HAS PLENTY OF POWER. I TRIED TO GET REALLY GOOD PICTURES SO YOU CAN SEE THE WORK IS REALLY GOOD.I FINANCED IT THROUGH DESCO FEDERAL CREDIT UNION IN PORTHSMOUTH AND THE FINANCE MANAGER SAID THEY'VE FINANCED OVER 400 OF THIS DEALERS SALVAGE CARS AND NO COMPLAINTS AND 3 OF THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE DRIVING HIS SALVAGE CARS. Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
Amelia Island 2013: Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray from concepts to split windows
Wed, 13 Mar 2013While this year marks 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance focused on one of the coupe's most sought after models, the 1963 Sting Ray. General Motors design boss Ed Welburn was on hand to show off the all-new C7 Corvette, but even the hard-edged styling of the 2014 Stingray couldn't take away from the beautiful 1963 models sitting out on the field.
In addition to the original Sting Ray and the 1959 Sting Ray Concept, some of the other classic 'Vettes included "Big Tank" racecars, an interesting cutaway coupe, a right-hand-drive Z06 and the attention-grabbing 1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina. Another impressive Corvette was the 1964 Corvette XP-819 rear-engine prototype. Owner Mike Yager had the car finished as a driving chassis for this year's show, but promises the car will be back to its original glory in time for next year's event.
