2003 Chevrolet Malibu Sedan 4-door 3.1l V6 155k on 2040-cars
Belton, Missouri, United States
For Sale is a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu. Car has only ever had one owner and has never been smoked in. The car is in good mechanical shape, it does need a few things like new brakes and the front left caliper sticks sometimes, the line just needs to be bled to get the air bubbles out of it. We took it to a mechanic and had it fixed and it came back, he did not do a very good job. There's a slight rattle coming from the trunk where the muffler sits too high and sometimes rubs against the trunk of the car. The car has a few dents, nothing overly out of the norm for a car of it's age. The biggest one is across the trunk where the car was vandalized over night. It looks like it was hit by a pipe or a bat. The windshield was broken one night after a hailstorm that froze over, so it could use a new windshield. Runs and drives great. Transmission shifts great. Starts every time. Replaced the starter and fuel pump a couple of years ago. Other then that, the car really hasn't had any mechanical work done to it other than routine maintenance. It has about 155k miles on it.
My wife and I are starting up a family and purchased a minivan so no need for the car any more. The car is for sale locally as well, will end the auction early if I sell it before the end of the listing. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!! |

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
