My loss your gain. This car has been verry well taken care of, garage kept and never drivin or left in the rain, not smoked in, and always waxed. has 10 switch hydralics. 100 spoke tru knock off 14x7 rims. i parked it in my garage 5 years ago to chrome plate parts and bad health struck and i havent been able to plate parts in my shop or work on it. it has sat in garage for 5 years and has not been started. some original parts have been chrome plated and others havent. the plan was to plate every thing under the hood. The inside looks great and outside looks great too. side trime and mirrors have been shaved to show off that wonderfull body. add some new batteries to get those pumps going lightning fast and by spring you could be hittin the switches on one sweet 64. depending on where you live you could be hittin corners on 3 wheels right now and rolling thew town showing every one who the man is. dont be like me and watch this lowrider roll away forever. 10 switch hydraulics include front,back,side to side,corner to corner font & back,3 wheel right & left, pancake and sawtooth. takes 4 deep cycles batteries,can use 2 to work to system if you want them slower. comes with 2 deep cycles(from my boat) and a free new charger(with alt and battery test and jumpstart) to keep ya going till you get a deep cycle charger to properly charge deepcycles for full power and lightning fast hydraulics. you can contact me to for info and photos of the under the car & exhast, all rust free. i havent started car in years. i cant stand to see this buetifull car sitting imprisoned in my garage untouched. Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.
GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
