AS MUCH AS I HATE TO I'M SELLING MY 69 IMPALA 4 DOOR. I BOUGHT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNERS GRANDSON SHORTLY AFTER THE WOMAN WENT TO A BETTER PLACE. I HAVE ALL THE SERVICE RECORDS AND ORIGINAL PROTECTO PLATE. SHE BOUGHT IT HERE IN PENSACOLA FLORIDA IN JAN. 1969.
THIS THING RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM AND SUPRIZINGLY FOR A BIG CAR IT GETS GREAT ,MILEAGE. IT HAS A 327 AND 2 SPEED POWERGLIDE. THERE IS NO RUST HOLES OR BONDO ANYWHERE IN THIS CAR, JUST SURFACE RUST ON THE EXTERIOR. THE FLOORS ARE SOLID AS A ROCK AS IS THE TRUNK WITH THE ORIGINAL SPECKLE PAINT.
ALL THE INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL WITH NO HOLES OR DEFECTS IN THE SEATS. THERE IS A CRACK IN THE DASH ON THE DRIVERS SIDE (IN PICS). DOOR PANELS ARE ALL ORIGINAL AND IN GOOD SHAPE. IT DID HAVE A HEATER CORE LEAK SO THE CARPET ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE FRONT IS MESSED UP BUT THE REST OF THE CARPET IS FINE.
I PUT BRAND NEW DUAL EXHAUST WITH TURBO MUFFLERS SO IT ISN'T LOUD BUT SOUNDS GOOD. I WOULD DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE... I AM THAT CONFIDENT ABOUT IT...
THE WHEELS AND TIRES DON'T GO WITH IT BUT I WILL LET THEM GO FOR AN ADDITIONAL 500.00. I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL WHEELS AND HUBCAPS WITH BRAND NEW TIRES THAT DO GO WITH IT..
I WAS GOING TO PAINT IT BUT I DECIDED THAT IF I WAS TO EVER HAVE TO TRY TO SELL IT. THAT A COLLECTOR WOULD RATHER SEE IT IN IT'S ORIGINAL CONDITION....
oh did I mention it has cold a/c..........
I'M SURE I'M FORGETTING SOMETHING SO IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS JUST CALL 850 450 2429. I DON'T RESPOND TO TEXTS SO JUST CALL FOR MORE INFO....
FLY IN AND DRIVE HER HOME....I HAVE A CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN MY NAME.....
PLEASE DON'T ASK WHAT THE RESERVE IS. BID WHAT YOUR WILLING TO PAY FOR THIS RARE ALL ORIGINAL CAR.
On May-26-13 at 15:43:50 PDT, seller added the following information:
I KNOW TO MOST 6500.00 MAY SEEM A BIT MUCH FOR A 4 DOOR BUT YOU WILL PROBABLY NEVER FIND A BETTER RUNNING AND DRIVING CAR THAT YOU CAN TAKE ANYWHERE WITH NO WORRIES WITH COLS A/C NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT I HAVE ALL SERVICE RECORDS AND THIS CAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGE KEPT SINCE THE 80'S. ALL 4 DOORS SHUT LIKE NEW. NO RUST HOLES AT ALL........INTERIOR LOOKS LIKE NEW. AND IS ORIGINAL...IT IS A JOY TO DRIVE AND HAS PLENTY OF POWER. I DRIVE IT EVERYDAY. IF I DIDN'T NEED THE MONEY TO SHOW MY WIFE A GREAT ANIVERSARY I WOULDN'T EVEN SELL IT. I'D PAINT IT AND HAVE PEOPLE POINT AND GIVE ME THUMBS UP EVEN MORE THAN THEY DO NOW. IF YOU HAVE A SERIOUS AND NON INSULTING OFFER JUST SHOOT IT TO ME... MY RESERVE IS MUCH LESS THAN THE BUY IT NOW. I JUST THINK THE CAR IS WORTH THE BUY IT NOW.

Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday
Tue, 11 Dec 2012There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
