1966 Chevrolet Impala 2dr cpe. this car was originally from North Carolina and still has a clean, transferable North Carolina title. This is a project car. there is no engine. the 2 speed powerglide transmission is still with the car as well as the transmission crossmember, driveshaft and 10 bolt rear end. the radiator, ps pump, cooling fan, most of the a/c components are also still with the car. there is no windshield but the rest of the glass is intact. trim and tail lights have been removed but are included. bumpers and grille are decent. interior needs a carpet and headliner. front and back seats need repair/recover. overall the body is decent. some rust on left door and rt front fender lower heel. rear package tray area is also rusty. deckilid has rust on the bottom lip. floors have surface rust and a few small holes. trunck has surface rust and a few small holes. frame is solid. sold as is. impala is for sale locally so auction could end at anytime. more pictures/details available. local delivery available for a reasonable fee. Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes

Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
