For Auction is a 1961 Chevy Impala 2-door Sedan.  Car runs and drives and stops.  Has new radiator, brake lines, new fuel pump.  Runs and drives good.  Speedometer does not work  Car needs to be restored.  I believe it to be original. I have driven this car up to 60 mph, keeping up in traffic.  Car runs smooth without any vibrations & very quiet. All the glass is in very good condition, however there is some crazing on the vent windows by chrome. Floor boards are in need of some repair, but are very repairable. All the back up lights, brake lights, front lights work.  The high beams are burnt out but I have 2 new bulbs, that will go with car.  the right blinker works and the left one does not blink.  Rockers are quite solid. approx 66,000 miles.
This is a great restoration car, and has some rust and I feel it is over all restoreable.  It has a new fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump.  Brakes lines have been replaced.  The carburator has been rebuilt.  New rebuilt radiator.  I believe this car can be driven home. Rebuilt master cyl.  Car Charges, generator works fine. Heater and wipers are all in running condition.  I have had fun with driving this car around the neighbor hood.
This is the last time this car will be posted on Ebay because of high fees.
Clear and Free title.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. To see the full order guide, head on over to CorvetteBlogger. From what we can gather, it sounds like more information will be revealed on April 25 during a party at the Corvette Museum, and for those sun worshipers patiently waiting for a convertible, it would appear you've got another model year to wait through.

Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes

Tue, 28 Aug 2012

Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
