The tires and brakes are about 50%, and the AC needs to be recharged with freon. The car has a salvage title. overall the car is in good condition, it has a few electrical problems that sometimes occur, like the window switch in one of the doors sometimes wont raise the window. This model in general had some electrical issues that Chevrolet fixed in later editions."

This car that I am selling for friends is a great little car with a lot of character. It has pretty good fuel mileage and lots of interior space for a car in this class. This car does have a salvage title but can be registered. the car was registered until being put up for sale. The car has a few minor issues. One of the windows doesn't always closes from the door but it closes from the driver side switches. Also the Air Conditioning needs to be recharged and might have a tiny freon leak. The car was used in a big city so it has a few small dents and scratches (see pictures) car is sold as is with a low reserve, please contact me with any questions. thanks for watching this item please ask questions before bidding on the car.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.

Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
