The vehicle you are viewing is what I've used to commute approximately 55 miles one way to school.  It is garage kept and has been primarily parked inside a parking structure when at school.  I've used Chevron gasoline 98% of the time, with Shell/Mobile accounting for the remainder.  All scheduled maintenance is up to date with no known issues.  New heavy duty rotors along with ceramic blended brake shoes have been installed on the front and have about 8,000 miles on them.  Depending on driving preferences, average fuel efficiency varies between 26-34 MPG.  Typical mileage fro Beaumont to Pomona and back is about 32 MPG.  After a long drive, the engine smells good and there are no leaks.  The transmission was serviced at around 68,000 miles and the tires have about 6 months worth of remaining tread.  The car does need the windshield replaced thanks to a hostile golf ball.

The only reason I'm selling this car is because I got a deal on a newer version from a family member.  If that opportunity didn't exist, I would have no problem driving this until it reaps the drudgery of old age.  The suspension feels like a care with 98,000 miles on it, but it runs and operates great!  If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

This vehicle is listed through several means and I do reserve the right to sell locally.  Reasonable offers will be considered, so please don't hesitate to contact me!

**A/C ICE COLD, ALWAYS GARAGED, EXCELLENT CONDITION, MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES, MUST SEE, NO ACCIDENTS, NON-SMOKER, PERFECT FIRST CAR, SATELLITE RADIO, TITLE IN HAND, FACTORY UPGRADED SOUND SYSTEM, VERY CLEAN INTERIOR, AND WELL MAINTAINED**

Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
