1987 Chevrolet (gmc) Rally Wagon Short Wheel Base Van Project. Non Running on 2040-cars
New Hudson, Michigan, United States
1987 Chevrolet Rally Wagon Van Short Wheel Base Project. This vehicle is not currently running and hasn't ran in two years since it was last parked inside a garage. It has a six cylinder motor and automatic trans. The front seats (cushions) are missing but the lower frame work is there. Van is very solid but does have a few areas of rust concerns such as across the front of the hood as well as the lower rocker on the passenger side. Other then that it's a pretty unmolested, original survivor. Please feel free to ask any questions or concerns before you bid! This vehicle is being sold in an AS IS, AS PICTURED, WHERE IS CONDITION! The vehicle can be personally inspected by appointment anytime before the auction ends. I do reserve the right to cancel/reject any bids or the auction at any time. With that being said this van is being offered in a NO RESERVE auction! Top bid takes it home! I just have too many projects and not enough time for them all!

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.
Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
