2002 Chevrolet Express 3500 Cargo Van V8 5.7l on 2040-cars
Arlington, Texas, United States
You are bidding on 2002 Chevy Express 3500 V8. This van has 333,000 miles on it but it has the Engine replaced in March and the Transmission rebuilt in April. I drove for 3 months and have not driven it since I got a Brand New Van. A/c works. It has new A/c parts replaced including the Compressor. New Starter, New Ball joints, New Tie Rod ends, New Muffler. The inside is not too bad. It Runs and Drives. I am not aware of any mechanical problems except the exhaust sounds it little load for me. This would definitely be a good work van. It is a one ton van. The body has dings, dents, scratches paint issues. It also has a cracked windshield, though not in driver's line of vision. Radio works. Please take a look at the photos for more information and please do not hesitate to contact me for more questions and photos. I will do my best to help. Local buyers are encouraged to come and take a look.
After payment I would be glad to drive to any local location within 35 miles from my zip code. Please note that this van is sold as is no warranty. Please the deposit is not refundable. Happy Bidding. |

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.
