Up for sale is one of the most beautiful, original and well preserved 1987 El Camino's you will ever find.  This car is being sold to settle the estate of the original Orange County, California owner.  The truck has been garaged every day of it's life and it shows. Beautiful caramel color with tan velour interior.  Everything from the paint to the chrome is original and show more than pride of ownership.

The only issue you could find is a couple of very small rust discolorations below the rear window moulding.  They can either be polished out or touched up.  This truck is not only the last of the El Camino's being a 1987, but is museum quality condition.  Runs and drives beautifully.  Has a very clean chassis and driveline.  What else can I say, the pictures will speak for themselves.  If you have any questions, please ask. Comes with a clean California title and for those California buyers, will come with a current smog certificate.

Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase one of the very last collector quality El Camino's left.

Priced below NADA for definite sale.

Thank you!

2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
