1987 Chevrolet El Camino ** 9700 Original Miles** on 2040-cars
Fall River, Massachusetts, United States
I have decided to list my 1987 El Camino.I have owned this car since 2001,and at that time it had 6800 original miles. The tops of the car were somewhat faded and a water sand and buff could not bring the paint back. At that point I had the whole car taken apart (I have all picts) and repainted by a professional body shop. Since the repaint it has always been stored in a heated garage.I have only driven it approx 3000 miles in the last 13 years !! I am not a fan of rally wheels so i bought a new set of 17" cragar ss chrome wheels with spinners and new michelin radials. My car has factory (working) a/c ,power windows ,power door locks, tilt wheel, factory radio, and the interior is all original except for steering wheel (by prev owner) and i had visors recovered. The interior is in excellent condition !! The bumpers are also original and are a 9 out of 10 . The bed like the rest of the car does not have any dings, scratches, marks of any kind ! The 305 engine is all original even has factory hoses. ** If you are looking for a 1987 (Last Year Made) El Camino that is in excellent condition Then bid to own!! I have tried to describe my car the best i could !! I never thought i would sell it but I have too many toys at this point ,however selling is not a necessity!! Please no low ballers ,scammers , or bothersome brokers !! Any questions, I can be reached @ 508-789-7398 Thanks Happy Bidding!!!

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
Hot Wheels' Twitter-enabled vending machine coughs up free Camaro diecasts
Wed, 27 Feb 2013There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.
Check out the video posted below to watch how it works, and while the auto show has ended and the free-car giveaway has too, we're almost certain that some of the 1,500 freebies will make their way onto eBay.
