up for sale is a multiple first place winner show car it was built about 12 years ago in flanagan il at the custom shop. the person that owned it passed away RIP my friend. So nobody knows the exact specs but i just took it so a local swap meet and the manager of the build told me there was over a hundred grand into the build. it runs and sounds great and has been safely packed away in a trailer made just for it for 9 years and did not get a fresh breath till 2 weeks ago and did nothing but stun people. all of the local car buffs said man i remember this car so its unforgetable. it has a hidden bass tube, air bags so it sets very low when aired down, the hood and trunk go up and down on electric actuatiors and lots more goodies you should see it in person and smell its essence. im not a show car guy but this thing can be removed from its trailer and put right into a show. my loss is your gain. If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ.
