*********** 1977 El Camino Classic, 350 v-8,4 bbl, auto, air, power windows,dual exhaust,rally wheels,super solid bed and body with no rot,nice frame,great floors,couple small rust spots on rt rear wheel lip. Was owned by an older gentleman in Florida, then brought to Michigan to be driven only in the summer months.I am selling this for a window friend who's hubby used to take it to car shows and once in awhile to the strip,(which it did pretty good). Runs and drives great (still gets rubber in 2nd gear), travels down the road like your grannies caddy.No leaks to the interior but will need need door surround gaskets,(dried and hard).Can drive anywhere. Has been stored for awhile and will need very little to be ready for daily summer driving. A/C compressor spins ok but the belt is off and the heater blower motor rumbles.The brakes, tires, and exhaust are newer. Looks and drives nice for a 36 year old car. Make me an offer and you might be driving it home. Selling local so I can end this listing at any time.

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.

What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
