If you want RARE here's your chance, we got this car from a friend here in our town who had it for many years and when his brother passed away he lost interest and sold it to me, we've known about the car for many years  but were unable to get it, 1970 el camino SS454 rare factory TRIPPLE BLACK, Black Paint code 19 with a Black factory vinyl top with Black interior, the seat was changed years ago to factory black bucket interior but it came with a black bench seat, has the factory round SS gauges and it came with factory A/C , Power Steering and Power Brakes, and yes a "4 SPEED" to tell you how long this car has been this way it still has an 8 track tape player in it !!!   12 bolt posi Rear with what appears to be a 3:42 gear could be wrong on the gear ratio but it rides and drives so nice and does not over rev the motor when your driving it at highway speed, The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner and they built it for performance with forged pistons and balanced the motor and boy does it run good, we have not found the VIN number on the motor so we cannot sell it as numbers matching, we have decoded the car and YES it is factory triple black with good options and the 4 speed, the only things it need that we can tell is it needs the A/C stuff put back on it under the hood it was removed when they rebuilt the motor, the front bumper Is original and shows a few scratches, and just someone to detail it to their liking , there is not any rust on the car anywhere that we can find and the paint is slick black and shines like new ( paint has been on the car for many years)and ready for your cruising, please feel free to call with any questions I will gladly answer them or get you the answer, as with all old cars they are sold as is because of age with no warranty, it is listed locally for sale and subject to be removed if sold. anyone is welcome to come and inspect the car feel free to get up with me to set up a time nothing to hide anyone can come look.  25% deposit within 3 days of auction end and balance within 7 more when car is to be picked up or arrangements to be made for shipping, will gladly help get the car to shipper or can maybe even get it shipped to you if you need help with that. please feel free to call Charlie @ 251-751-7530 thanks and GOD BLESS !

Indian tuner turns Chevy Optra into Mustang 'Eleanor' replica

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.

Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.
