I have up for sale is a 1969 Chevy El Camino that is a numbers matching rare block casting number car (block #3932388). This car was delivered from California about a year ago and has never seen snow or salt. I have a folder full of receipts that i will give to the new owner of this car. I will start with the interior, It has new black leather door panels,dash pad, and leather seat, the carpet was just replaced with black carpet that is premolded the car and i have a new headliner for the car in a box just haven't had the time to install it but i will give it to the new owner. All the glass is in good shape and all the windows work as they should, there are 3 aftermarket gauges(volts,oil pressure,and water temp). The exterior was repaint with a metallic silver and the bed was sprayed with a bed liner. I have new corner trim for the front grill in a box that will go with the car. The only piece of the exterior that i am missing is the head light trim and the passenger side emblem that tells the motor size. The motor is a numbers matching 350 that has a small cam, edelbrock aluminum intake, edelbrock 650 carb, long tube headers to flowmasters, hei distributor and new cap and wires, i also have new chrome ac compressor with chrome brackets and a chrome alt bracket that needs installed that will go with the car. There is a 350th tranny that was a shift kit and the rear end was just serviced and new oil and seal was installed. Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.
