HERE IS A 1965 CHEVROLET ELCAMINO WITH CUSTOM PAINT DONE IN EARLY 1960,S CALIFORNIA STYLE,THIS IS THE WAY SOME OF THE 65 ELCAMINOS WERE DONE WIN THEY WERE NEW,IT WAS NOT UNTIL THE 70,S WHEN PEOPLE STARTED STICKING BIG BLOCKS WITH SILLY BLOWERS THROUGH THE HOOD ,,THIS WAS A CALIFORNA RUST FREE CHEVY THAT WAS STRIPPED TO BARE METAL BEFORE ANY PAINT WORK BEGAN,ITS BEEN FLAKED,STRIPED,LACES AND CLEARED,A BASE OF SILVER WAS LAYED DOWN,THEN HOUSE OF COLOR PAGAN GOLD WAS PUT DOWN AND THEN THE CUSTOM WORK BEGAN,THE DASH WAS STRIPPED TO BARE METAL AND MANY LAYERS OF GOLD FLAKE WERE PUT ON, STEERING WHEEL, COLUMN AND GARNISH MOLDING ALL GOT LOTS OF FLAKE.THE BUCKET SEATS ARE GOLD METAL FLAKE ,THE CAR IS LOWERED WITH CUT COILS AND DROPPED SPINDLES,IT HAS A GOOD RUNNING 350 WITH A 400 TURBO,HAS NEW QUADRAJET CARB,NEW CAP ROTOR WIRES AND PLUGS COULD DRIVE HOME.THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS DIRTY WITH BODY SHOP DUST NEEDS DETAILED,IT HAS THE ORIGINAL GRILL SHOULD HAVE A NEW REPOP ONE TO MAKE IT POP<THE FRONT BUMPER IS NEW<BACK ORIGINAL,THIS ELCAMINO IS FRESH OUT OF THE BODY SHOP AND HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN<A COOL EARLY SIXTYS STYLE CUSTOM CRUISER CALL 314 580 4444 FOR MORE INFO,WOULD TRADE FOR EARLY 50,s CHEVY,59 ELCAMINO,1967-67 CHEVY SHORT BED,OR?OVER SEAS BIDS WELCOME,BUY MUST ARRANGE SHIPPING

Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.

Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
