I am selling my GRAND SPORT number 318 it has 8,200 miles on it, one of 9 with the same RPO codes made. It has never been in the rain and is stored in a large bag and a temperature controlled room. Every thing is original, only the fluids have been changed. This particular car features the RARE F45 ride control switch between the seats manages the car’s race-bred suspension, while the vast panel of buttons for the climate control and entertainment system fits ahead of the console The overall look of the Grand Sport is finished off with the black 17” wheels. These cars were incredible performers; 6 speed manual, it has p/w, p/l, p/s, a/c, ride control package, Targa top, driver and passenger airbags, I've never changed the car in any way other that the normal maintenance, it is all stock and in great running condition. It has always been garage kept because it has always been used as a show car. It has won many trophies. LT-4 330hp high performance engine, This car also was ordered with the, preferred equipment group 1 and the Bose system with cassette and CD player. Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
