2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Ls on 2040-cars
Reno, Nevada, United States
White Beauty! What a terrific deal! Low
Mileage Only 53,000 miles! This is the
vehicle for you if you're looking to get great gas mileage on your way to work!
Chevrolet has built a thoroughly modern, class-challenging
contender in the 2007 Cobalt. This sedan gets high marks as a handsome,
well-equipped car. It's a good car, if not a great one, and it is certainly a
creditable competitor to the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic and most other cars on
the market in this class. Built on a strong platform, it delivers crisp handling and a smooth ride. If
you're looking for inexpensive, high-value transportation, this one is
definitely worth a look. Based on our
110 point safety/maintenance inspection we changed the oil, replaced the wipers
and air filter, serviced the A/C system and confirmed that the vehicle meets
generally accepted level of maintenance for its age and mileage. There is a ding on the passenger side front
fender and the normal nicks/scuffs for a 7 year old car.
American Auto Air & Repair is a bumper to bumper auto repair facility serving the Reno NV area since 1976. We invest the time and money renewing every car we sell so you don't have to, each must pass a meticulous 110 point inspection. All our cars are brought up to the generally accepted level of maintenance based on the mileage and age. In other words we perform all the maintenance on the cars we sell that we would recommend to our repair shop customers. |

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.
Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.
