Here I have a 1971 Chevelle that needs a Lot of Body Work, I personally feel that it is best used for the Motor, Tranny and 12 Bolt Rear. It has a Lot of Body cancer! The Motor is a 350 Bored 60 over, 11.5:1 Compression, Steel Crank, 202 Cast Iron heads with $1500 worth of head work done, 525 Lift cam, Air Gap Intake, Holley Carb, MSD ignition, FlowMaster Exhaust, Sounds like a Big Block! Turbo 350 Tranny with Stall Speed Converter. 12 Bolt Rear with 411 Gears, Weld Draglite Wheels with MT Street Slicks. Disc Brakes in front (which can be used on any A Body GM Car from 1964 to 1972) B&M Ratchet Shifter, Tach with Shift Light, AM/FM/CD Player. Power Steering and Power Brakes with a Vacuum Can. Motor is supposed to have around 500 Miles and was Built by a Professional Shop. Approx. 400 to 425 Horse Power. Car runs super strong!! .. If you have a Nice Body this would be Perfect to swap everything over. OR If your a Body Man and have some time on your hands go for it! .. I will have pics of the car tomorrow. The Price that I have the car listed for $3500 is NON Negotiable, I am Hoping it sells for more. If you know about cars then you know the asking price is LESS than what it cost to build just the Motor!!! This car can be driven. Thanks for Looking

Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Chevrolet Cruze EV - Click above for high-res image gallery
The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
Next-gen GM SUVs caught wearing new boxy bodies [w/video]
Wed, 15 May 2013We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above).
Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models.
Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."
