1971 numbers matching super sport with two build sheets. Burnt Orange exterior and black interior. Interior is in nice condition for it's age. The paint looks good from ten feet away but up close it needs work. Driver quality for sure. No rust in trunk, floor boards or anywhere else that I can tell. Has new weatherstrip around doors and trunk. All glass is original and in great shape. Car runs super. Nice and tight front end. Good brakes. Power steering works fine. All lights, horn, turn signals, radio, heater, wipers, ect work. Reserve is set low because of the paint job. With a little work, this car could be a show car. Drive it anywhere, even across country. Interior Code is 705. Paint code 62/62. Engine is the original L48 270 HP with the VIN stamped on the block. Engine does not smoke or have any issues. Tranny shifts nice but leaks a little around the pan, easy fix. Has the F41 suspension with sway bar and boxed rear control arms. This is a Solid SS car with documentation. Don't want to mislead anyone so I am exposing all the weak areas. You won't be disappointed with this car if you are looking for an SS that you can drive while you restore. Have the original AM/8 track and air cleaner.

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Mon, 21 Jan 2013Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
