I added temp., oil pressure, and volt gauges. It needs a radio, but otherwise the dash is in good condition. The seats are in excellent condition but the patterns on the back seat do not match the patterns on the front seats (see pictures). The windshield has a small crack on top driver side corner from installation, it is hardly noticeable."

You are bidding on a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS clone. It is a frame off restoration with tons of new parts. Two year old paint job, base coat/ clear coat, the SS stripes are painted (not decals) under the clear coat, the paint is smooth and shiny and in very nice condition. Absolutely NO rust, new panels were installed where needed. The Undercarriage is very clean and painted. It has new bumpers front and back with new SS pad on back bumper. All emblems are new, front windshield molding is original but in good shape, the back window molding has flaws and should be replaced.  Front seats have new covers, new carpet, new head liner, B&M shifter, new door panels (front and back), sound proofing under carpeting, all new seals on doors, trunk and windows. The motor is a rebuilt 350 with a mild cam, Edelbrock intake and carb, headers with 2 1/2" Flowmaster exhaust, turbo 350 trans with shift kit, 10 bolt rear end. New aftermarket power disc breaks on front, new tires with Eagle polished aluminum rims. This is a beautiful driving car, handles great, drives like a new car. Because of the 350 motor, it is affordable to drive this muscle car. There are a few minor flaws with this car but overall it is a great looking machine.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.
