Chevrolet Camaro 1989 Iroc Z28 350 5.7l T-tops Low Miles on 2040-cars
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States
You are looking at a true surviving low mileage, two owner 1989 Chevy Camaro IROC Z28. I purchased this car for my mother as a birthday present from a friend of a friend. The previous owner took very good care of the car, and we've continued in the same manner. I've been the car's caretaker for the last 17 years. It has a clean Autocheck and Carfax. There was a slip up by an emissions tester who assumed the vehicle's odometer had "rolled over". My mother never checked the paperwork so it got committed to record. I believe Autocheck was smart enough to know that it was a mistake and reports it "clean". Rest assured that this vehicle's reported mileage is the actual mileage. You can tell by the pictures that this car has not been driven much at all over the last 25 years. It's a Wisconsin car, but it has never been driven in the snow and has only been driven in the summer months. The car is loaded with many factory options, including power windows/locks/mirrors/trunk release, power driver seat, Bose sound system, and lockable trunk compartments. The A/C also blows cold. The car has a new muffler, tires, battery, starter and alternator. It's never needed a major repair, and I've never put any after market parts on it. The engine runs extremely well, and transmission shifts flawlessly.
The interior is in great condition as well. It's very, very clean. There are no stains but for a couple of very small ones on the passenger floor mat. The carpet nap is good, and the seat foam is still shapely. The dash has a small 1 inch crack on the driver side. The there is also some wear on the driver's side floor from the previous owner obviously driving without a mat. There is some minor fading on the headrests and rear seat back divide due to sun exposure. But unless the car has rear louvers and is never driven with the t-tops off, some fading is going to occur on a 25 year old car. The weather stripping is in good condition and the t-tops don't leak. Overall the headliner is in good condition except for a few loose areas. There is, however, no major sagging. I will include a quick release steering wheel made by Bertini that was passed on to me from the previous owner. The exterior is also in very, very good condition. As far as I know, it's never been in an accident. There is no rust and to my knowledge all of the paint is original except for the front bumper ground effects/skirt and the inside of the headlights. It's temping to use that area as a ledge. The previous owner and mechanics gave those areas minor nicks and scratches that didn't sit well with me. So after many years of looking at it, I had those repainted just to give it a fresh look. There is a very small scrape on the ground effects/skirt. However, it is not very noticeable. Overall the car is very clean. It is very difficult to find a 350 5.7 with t-tops in this good of condition and all original. This car has been our pride and joy for many years. It's a real head-turner, whether you're a third generation Camaro lover or not. It just looks good! 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers
Fri, 11 Apr 2014
Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild
Tue, 12 Feb 2013This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
