HE BOUGHT TO PULL HIS 34' FISHING BOAT.     HE TOOK IT DOWN TO TO THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP AND TOLD THEM TO PUT IT BACK IN TOP SHAPE.   THEY DID EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF .   COMPLETE MOTOR SERVICE , TRANSMISSION SERVICE (PULLED TRANS AND TRANSFER CASE ) INTSALLED NEW SEALS ,  BOTH DIFFS W/NEW SEALS AND NEW AXLE SEALS.  ALL NEW BRAKES , NEW HYDRO BOOSTER ,  NEW TIRES  , FRONT CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS , COMPLETE TUNE UP W/ NEW DIST. AND WIRES. NEW WATER PUMP , NEW TRANS. MOUNTS , NEW OIL COOLER LINES , NEW CARRIER BEARING , FLUSHED P/S SYSTEM , FLUSHED COOLING SYSTEM , NEW DOOR HINGES , NEW BACK UP CAMERA , NEW ALARM SYSTEM  , NEW BED LINER , NEW EXTENDED MIRRORS .   INSIDE ,  NEW HEADLINER , SPEAKERS , SUN VISORS. As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile

The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
