976 GMC 4x4 - 350 Chevrolet V8 with 4 bolt main motor, mild RV cam, Edelbrock carburetor and intake, motor has a complete chrome kit (oil pan etc.), summit aluminum 3/4 radiator, Hedman headers, chrome water pump, chrome alternator and chrome power steering pump , alum. pullleys , 350 turbo tranny with shift kit, 205 new process transfer case with gear to gear, front and rear drive shafts, Rancho suspension (springs -the part number is still plain on the springs)and Rancho shocks. This truck has a 3 1/2 inch body lift. brake caliper lines and pads, rotors, seals, bearings, ball joints, u-joints, tie rods and steering gear box, Lock Rite locker in rear end, mile marker lock outs in the front end. Every bushing on the frame. 33 inch 12/50 Cooper Discovery tires, with 15 - 10 Outlaw rims, front and rear bumpers, walnut bed with aluminum trim, 15 gallon aluminum fuel cell with sending unit, blue Holly fuel system, double chrome roil bar, all NEW rubber seals in the doors and in the front and rear glass. New custom split bench seat with cup holders. Everthing listed above has been replaced within the last 5 years brand new out of a box. This truck is every mans dream. GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.

Thu, 07 Feb 2013For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
