Here is a 1982 Chevrolet Silverado Custom 10 long wheelbase pickup truck . It has a Goodwrench 350 engine that doesn't look to be too old and it runs out good. The alternator has recently been replaced. It has a two-tone brown and yellow paint job in pretty good shape. The trim down the sides of the truck are starting to crack and peel. There are few dents and dings from over the years but all together it is a good looking truck for the age. I tried to take good pictures to show all the wear on the truck. The interior is about the same. I showed all the rips and tears I seen in the photos. It has a spray in bedliner and a bumper pull ball. It has an aftermarket radio/CD player. This truck isnt perfect but you could spend a little time and money and have a super nice truck!
This truck is also For Sale locally on our lot so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. You are more than welcome to come test drive and inspect this truck anyway you want before the end of auction or have someone do it for you. Georgia Residents will be required to pay sales tax on top of the winning bid as this truck belongs to a Licensed Used Car dealer here in Georgia. Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506
Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
