Up for grabs is our custom one-off No Coast Speed Shop shop delivery truck.  We started building this truck with every intention of using it as our shop vehicle, but we ended up with something that we could use to pull our trailer as well, so it's services are no longer needed.

It is a 1978 Chevy C10 RUST FREE (lived it's life in Wyoming) Short Bed Pickup.  It has what I believe to be a 350, I have not run the number, and I assume it to be the original motor.  Runs good, has a Holley 4-Barrel with a Turbo 350 Transmission.  Power Steering, but no power brakes, that was something that we planned on updating and is easily done but adding a vacuum booster.  The truck runs and drives fine, however there are a few minor things that need finished.  It needs the complete door rubber for both doors (jam seals, window runners, etc) these are available through LMC Truck or right here on Ebay.  I have the bumper, door panels and marker lights, which I will include.  Also there is a small oil leak at the back of the motor, it appears to be the oil pan gasket although I have never looked into it.  The truck features 6-way electric leather bucket seats (from a Lexus), new carpet, a nice Blazer console, Custom behind Grill Lighting, and Custom Corvette Style Rally Wheels with newer tires.  The paint is PPG Vitamin C Orange and PPG MP172 Epoxy Primer.  This will allow you to change the bottom and spend the time doing the body work if you'd prefer a nicer paint job.

For further questions and details, send an email or call 970-682-5263.

We are offering FREE SHIPPING in the Lower 48 States (sorry Alaska & Hawaii).  Now that we are out of winter, it generally takes 1-2 weeks total.

Enjoy the Summer - This truck is Ready to Cruise!

Next-gen GM SUVs caught wearing new boxy bodies [w/video]

Wed, 15 May 2013

We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above).
Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models.
Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.

Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
