1972 Chevy Short Bed / Stepside pick-up truck. New 350 engine / 400 turbo. Lowered 4" all around. ( dropped spindles ), Sets and rides great. New white letter tires on rallye wheels with rings and caps. Disc brakes on front. Tenn. body, no rust. Very hard to find and desirable body style. Engine newly built 350, 2.02 heads, mild cam, (sounds bad a... ) and runs strong. Edlebrock intake and carb. ( duel inlet )Ten bolt rear end. Also new bumpers, billet grille, halogine headlights, tilt wheel, white gauges, seat, mirrors, weatherstriping, bed wood, tailgate, tail lights, etc, etc,. Loads spent. New paint needs wet sanded and buffed. call Dave 309-two five six 2656. P.S. Sorry about some pictures with water drops. Got caught in sudden storm and didn't have time to chamois off.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
