This was a project in the works at my shop with the shop closed now it needs to go we took the inline six out and threw a 350 in it the motor does run but there is a timing issue with the motor someone with a knowage of 350 engines would do good with this it also has a turbo 400 automatic tranny with a new floor shift that will go with the truck with the placement of the new tranny the old drive shaft did not fit so if you purches this truck you will have to get a drive shaft for the truck - the brakes need to be gone threw to, there is a brand new Edelbrock carb on there with a jegs fuel pump. There is headers with a new exhaust the comes out befor the back tires the the tires and rims are new got them from jegs we painted the truck a flat maroon with a mat clear and left some rustic characters to her i did not want this truck to be a full restore she has been down the road when the inline six was in and i had a blast driving it this is a good project truck for you lots of new parts any ?s please email me at outlawrepair2013@yahoo.com |

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday
Tue, 11 Dec 2012There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
Watch the live reveal of the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra [UPDATE]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012UPDATE: The trucks have been revealed. Click here for all of the official details.
As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.
Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]
Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
