Departing with my beloved C10 stepside.

1969. Hot Rod Black. 350 2 barrel Automatic.

Comes with 2 tailgates, 2 grilles. Super clean. Not a mint truck- but not just your average C10 hot rod either.

Truck is just clean- no BS. Excellent pinstriping, and painted graphics.

Entire is mostly new- gray and black bucket, all mint. Interior looks like a 2013 truck.

Brand new bridgstone tires on Coy wheels, 19" rear 17" front.

Truck turns heads every I go- love to see people smile when they see it.

New flowmasters and duals about 3 months old-  sounds incredible.

I've driven the truck about 1500 miles since I had it- other owner had the engine built with about 1000 miles on it.

I cruise it- but have babied it- setting in garage now.

cd player with usb and remote.  new shocks all the way around.

blackwood stained bed.

Wish I could keep her- but I cannot. Interested in someone that will love the truck as much as I did, but won't kill me if it doesn't sell. It's not your average C-10 that some knucklehead 1/2 built and scoots around the flea market it- it's really a cool and super clean truck.

Best of luck-  please email with any questions prior to bidding. Buyer responsible for picking up or shipping.  500.00 due within 24 hr of auction closing. Full payment due within 7 days.

Please check my feedback-

Thanks-

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit

Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

Hot Wheels' Twitter-enabled vending machine coughs up free Camaro diecasts

Wed, 27 Feb 2013

There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.
Check out the video posted below to watch how it works, and while the auto show has ended and the free-car giveaway has too, we're almost certain that some of the 1,500 freebies will make their way onto eBay.

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
