What A Barn Find One Owner! One Owner Title! Over Drive! This 1966 Chevrolet C 10 began its journey in Fayetteville, Arkansas where it was purchased new at Green Chevrolet in Fayetteville , Arkansas by the previous owner. The Previous owner took a job transfer to Kansas where he drove the truck everyday till his retirement and retired the truck to the barn. This 1966 C 10 is a 6 cyl. 3 speed manual shift with overdrive.The C 10 runs well pull the choke a couple pumps of the carburetor fires right up. Drives good & shifts good ,brakes work , but it needs a restoration, there is rust in the usual places and then some, it has new wood in the bed but the fender wells in the bed need replacing they are not on the truck. It has original seat but does need recovering.Tires 225/75/ 15 Mesa on front 235/75/15 Good Year Wrangler on rear they have plenty of tread on both but not sure of the age. All the glass is good but all the seals & gaskets would need replacing.The rear bumper is missing not sure if it ever had one. This truck also comes with the original owners manual & the warranty Protect - O- Plate , These items alone would be extremely hard to come-by. Also have clear title in hand. This truck would make a great project or drive it like it is there is a lot of history behind it. Very Reasonable Reserve so add this auction to your watch list and don`t miss this truck bid often these body styles are getting harder to find. I have described this truck to the best of my ability, this truck is 48 years old and as with any used vehicle there is maintenance required and unforeseen repairs so there is no warranty offered. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
