These days you can't by much for this price. This is an original 1967 step side long box 4x4, 4spd truck. The engine is a 350 from a 1970 Chevy pickup.
The truck needs cab corners and cab mounts and rockers, it has some rust spots on the box fenders. it boasts many farm dings and a few dents mainly on the box.

The truck was taken on trade for two trophy bear hides and imported in to Canada from Montana ranch country. It is an intact running, driving truck, it shifts a stops and starts with no problem, the four wheel drive system is operational

The doors are quite solid with no sag or play, the door bottoms are original with no speaker cut outs. The bottoms of the doors are relatively sound. The cab needs attention as the rockers, mounts and corners show rust. The front clip is clean and straight. The inner fenders look good as does the firewall.

The truck needs attention as follows:
Cab mounts, corners and rockers
Windshield
Speedometer temperamental
Taillight wiring.
Engine leaking oil believed to be coming from the valve covers.
Needs Provincial safety inspection for Canadian registration.

The price is very reasonable and fair to the buyer and the seller. This truck would make a great project as it has not been molested, just used as a farm truck.

Remember you are bidding on a 47 year old vehicle. It is very unique however it does require a restoration or weekend tinkering to make it a daily driver. Lots of potential here without breaking the bank account.

Feel free to ask further questions, good luck.

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
