I love this Blazer. No cheap stuff
here. Top of the line wheels, tires, lift,
etc. I always wanted a K5
Blazer and finally decided to have one built.
This Blazer was built by a custom car shop in New Braunfels (Xtreme Street
Kustomz) and everything was done right, everything works. I tried to list everything
I could think of but I’m sure I forgot a lot.
This project started
over 18 months ago. My plan was to have
the biggest, coolest K5 around and I was going to have it custom wrapped for my
business ( I own a local Gym) The
project took a lot longer than I expected and cost a lot more than I
expected. By the time it was ready to be
picked up I had sold my home and decided to move to another city and commute to
the gym every day. As cool as this
Blazer is, it’s not made to commute in! I never even had the
wrap put on the truck. I decided to sell
it because I have too many other obligations that I need to take care of, I
just can’t justify a toy like this right now. If you try to build a
Blazer like this you will need to be willing to spend some serious money. I know that I will lose money at this auction
but I just can’t justify keeping it so my loss is your gain. I really hope it goes to
a good home. You will have a lot of fun
driving this Blazer. This Blazer will sell to the high
bidder regardless if
that is $5,000 or $50,000 Trade ? You
are welcome to make me an offer but I’m not interested in any junk or projects. I really hope to get what this Blazer is worth but I will
trust the auction to bring whatever the market will pay. Whoever wins this bid will be very happy! I will be happy to help you arrange to get the Blazer to
your home as long as it has been paid for before it leaves my driveway. You can fly into San Antonio or Austin and
drive it home, I am only 30 minutes from the San Antonio Airport and about an
hour from Austin Airport. The winning bidder will need to pay a $500 deposit within 24
hours and the balance within 5 days. You
can leave the Blazer here as long as you wish once it is paid for. This is a true NO RESERVE! High Bidder Wins! (I had to start the auction at $500
so I could ask for a deposit.) |

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette
Thu, 14 Feb 2013When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.
GM looks to combat high theft rates on SUVs with added tech
Tue, 24 Dec 2013The Cadillac Escalade has been at or near the top of most-stolen and insurance-loss lists for more than seven years, until it dropped to number six earlier this year. In 2011 it was fitted with a host of new security features to address its easy-to-override features and that has brought the number of thefts down, but when eight of the ten most stolen rides are large SUVs from General Motors, no one will argue that something else needs to be done.
Thus, GM has fitted this same theft-deterring tech to the 2015 Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon. The Suburban and Tahoe will get the steering lock that the Escalade and Yukon already get, plus bolted-down third-row seats to deter thefts like this, stronger door lock cylinders and shields, and side-cut keys to inhibit picking.
Additional security measures in a Theft Protection Package can be purchased for $395, consisting of sensors on the greenhouse glass and interior, an incline/tilt sensor and added "key control systems" to make it more difficult for the men in black balaclavas to steal what you bought.
