YOU ARE VIEWING A VERY NICE 1987 CHEVY SILVERADO K5 BLAZER 4x4. THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR OF THE FUEL INJECTION. IT HAS A 5.7 LITER 350 THAT RUNS GREAT WITH ONLY 154,000 ORIGINAL MILES. THE 4x4 WORKS GREAT AND SO DOES THE TRANSMISSION. IT HAS A GOOD PAINT JOB THAT WAS DONE IN 2006. THE PAINT COLOR WAS CHANGED FROM THE FACTORY GRAY TO STEALTH GRAY METALLIC WHICH IS ON SOME OF THE MODERN DAY CARS. THERE IS A COUPLE OF SMALL RUST SPOTS THAT HAVE STARTED BUT IS NOT RUSTED THROUGH, ONE IS ON THE PLATE ON THE INNER FENDER AND THE OTHER IS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE UNDER THE DOOR. THESE ARE NOT BAD AT ALL , BUT WANTED TO MENTION IT. THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE (I BELIEVE ORIGINAL) NO TEARS IN THE SEATS AND NO CRACKS IN THE DASH, CARPET IS GOOD WITH HUSKY FLOOR MATS IN THE FRONT. THIS MODEL DID NOT HAVE POWER WINDOWS OR LOCKS, BUT HAS AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH CRUISE. IT HAS NEW ALUMINUM WHEELS AND MICHELIN TIRES, NEW BRAKES, NEW REAR WINDOW MOTOR, NEW ALPINE SYSTEM, NEW AIR CONDITION, NEW EXHAUST (LIKE FACTORY). THIS BLAZER HAS ONLY HAD 5,000 MILES PUT ON IT SINCE 2006, IT HAS BEEN STORED INSIDE. I DID A CARFAX ON IT AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED. THIS BLAZER HAS NEVER BEEN USED FOR MUDDBOGGING. THE ONLY REASON I AM SELLING IT IS BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND A TRUCK THAT I AM WANTING TO PURCHASE. Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
