For Sale 1978 Chevy Blazer, 2 WD, Small Block Chevy V-8, Appears to be original, but don't know the history, I was told that the motor was freshened up at 100,000 miles. Doesn't smoke, passes California emissions, A/C has been recently been gone through "receipts", Rebuilt front end including all new disc brakes, lines, calipers, rotors etc. Dropped spindles, and front end alignment. New rear brakes and de-arched rear springs, Wheel Vintique Rally wheels, fronts are 15 x 8, rears 15 x 10. Tires are in excellent condition. Alpine CD player, Infinity powered sub-woofer. Sounds really good! Interior is in overall good condition for its age. Seats are excellent and has new carpet!! This blazer drives straight and stops straight no pulling side to side. Over $4000.00 in receipts for recent upgrades. Custom pin striping by "Clines" White gold leaf with red lines. These are hand painted. Rear power window switch has been relocated from tailgate to the rear license plate cut out in chrome bumper. |

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.
