1962 Chevy Bel Air Bubbletop, 409, 4 speed car. Car came out of the Texas/Oklahoma area originally, really clean older paint and restoration. I have tons of photos, with a MIL gauge on the paint to show how nice the car really is. I was told it was a body off paint job back in the 80's, paint is by no means perfect but looks really good for it's age. Chassis was cleaned and painted black and new body bushings were installed, interior is pretty perfect, drives great, runs perfect, sounds bad ass! New brakes, brakes hoses and lines, ball joints, tie rod ends.... Originally a 6 cylinder 3 speed car....the 409 and 4 speed are both 1962 date coded, no they did not come with the car and I'm being as host as I can here about it. We tried to keep everything looking as it did back in '62 except for electronic exhaust cut-outs and an alternator. Email if you have any questions. Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!

Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
