This car is very rare because Chevrolet made only around 16,000 of the
210 four door model without the post. I been told many times never heard
or seen this car from lots of people. And if you look around the
internet and it will be hard to come across any. I only came across 2
online and never seen any at car shows. Even the employers at Danchuk
said they never see this car and it is so rare. This is an investment
but it needs A LOT of work. first it needs some engine work, new
transmission, has wrong heads on it but runs. 350 block with 283 heads.
Was hit in rear left side but we have the quarter panel for it just
never got around to fixing it. It has been sitting for few years now.
It has been painted red and white and interior redone red and white, red
carpet. Original colors are Surf green and Indian Ivory. The mileage is
around 150,000. So since its been sitting for some time now, there is
some rust showing up along edges of hardtop, one rim is rusted, tires
are low - one is flat but one extra tire in trunk, well had baby moons
don't know if my dad has them still, the back passenger door is stuck
cause that's the side that got hit ( no damage to door) just pushed in, a
lot of the trim/chrome is pitted but not so bad, you need a new lock
for trunk ( can open now with screwdriver), it has seat belts - front
and back, door panels are good, comes with radio/CD player, headlining
is good, dash is pretty good, grill is pretty good, carpet - you want to
replace!
This is a investment. It can be worth so much more if fixed up |

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out
Thu, 29 Apr 2010Chevrolet Camaro goes to South Korea - Click above for high-res image
General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
General Motors shaking up its marketing... again
Wed, 13 Mar 2013One of the things that dogs the full comeback of General Motors is the instability of its marketing. That part of the automaker got yet another big shakeup today when GM confirmed what I have been tweeting for a few days - strong rumors that the Chevrolet and Cadillac ad accounts are walking to new ad agencies.
Cadillac, GM's luxury brand, is going into review from Fallon Worldwide, Minneapolis and the indications are that Campbell-Ewald, Chevy's old ad shop, will end up with most or all of it. C-E just announced that it was moving from its long-time home in Warren, MI to a new downtown Detroit office next to Ford Field, just blocks from GM.
The other shoe to drop shortly will be the shift of GM's most important brand, Chevy, from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco to McCann-Erickson of Troy, MI. McCann used to be the agency for Buick and GMC, as well as GM's corporate advertising, and has retained some pieces of business over the last few years. Sources have even told us that it was McCann that did a lot of the creative work on Chevy's new ad platform, Find New Roads. (Not to be confused with a former McCann tagline for Saab, "Find Your Own Road.")
Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
