Here is a 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hard top. Everything for the car is there. Except bumpers, glass, or soft rubber parts like carpet, weather stripping, bushings, etc. Here is a list of some of the work that has been done: it has new floor pan from the toe board all the through to the tail lights, there are no patches its all new it has had both quarter panels replaced both inter and outer rocker panels replaced trunk lid is new, package tray is new, it has a disk break conversion kit for the front, new tail lights, all the body parts are there... it will need driver door replaced. this is a crate engine ( Good Wrench 350) yes it is dirty in the pictures but it does run. ** it only has about 5,000 miles on it*** It does have have a new power steering box, Camaro rear end in good shape ( see pics) Drum breaks on the rear, This is a project car.. It has had a bunch of work that I have done! It could be finished without removing the body from the frame. but a rotisserie paint job would make this car awesome . I am including all the parts to put it together that I have (see pics) This is what the car is missing: both bumpers, radiator, clutch, fly wheel, Has a flex plate on it now. shocks, brake lines, all glass is missing, This car is about 80% complete. There is a few minor rust spots, that needs a attention. I can roll this car on your trailer if need be. local pick up only ask any and all questions! GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches
Thu, 20 Dec 2012General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
