This is my 1955 Chevy 210 2 door Hardtop. This is a very nice driver quality car.First the good,This car has an HP code 1965 327 that has been completely rebuilt professionally. It is 40 over with forged crank Speedpro pistons,Cleveite bearings,Felpro gaskets, High volume Melling oil pump. Also has a solid lifter Crower Cam #00320 comp solid cool lifters with the small oil hole in the face of the lifter,Comp roller rockers and heavy duty pushrods. The car has power disk brakes in front and new ball joints upper and lower.New A frame bushings upper and lower as well as wheel bearings.Tie rod ends were in great shape so I did not replace, but new ones come with.It has Purple Hornies glasspack mufflers (if you want to call them mufflers) its kinda loud.It has less than 1500 miles on all this stuff.
This car has never seen salt. The floors are factory and perfect. The interior is older but nice it does show some wear but still looks great the headliner is stock and is decent.Has a small tear on the lower side of front seat.carpet is nice.Front bumper hood bird is new.Center of rear bumper is new.Rear bumper outsides could be rechromed for show.I have a new uninstalled long spear for the driver side. The old one is dented.Rest of chrome is nice.Frame and underneath is in EX cond.
The bad. This car is in primer and will need painted which will need to include fixing any small dings and flaws Should be straight forward. There is/was a small amount of rust at the lower front fenders that should be fixed properly with metal, has bondo in the spots now. These were caused by dirt/mud that set for years in these spots.
The ugly. This is a driver car and does have small flaws but could be made real nice with some work and paint. The only reason I am selling is to get a Model A Ford and the Wife says the 55 has to go first..so..

Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Mon, 17 Dec 2012 14:58:00 EST
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.

We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.
Check out the video posted below to watch how it works, and while the auto show has ended and the free-car giveaway has too, we're almost certain that some of the 1,500 freebies will make their way onto eBay.
