1955 Chevrolet Station Wagon. The engine is a 350 crate motor with about 5,000 miles on it, Street Dominator intake, Edelbrock carb, Sanderson headers. 350 Turbo Transmission acts up sometimes going into 3rd gear. Vintage Air and Heat. Power Disc Brakes, In dash AM-FM with 10 disc CD Player. All glass is good, and has a new tinted windshield. Eagle Alloy wheels with almost new tires. Very nice chrome with accessory bumper ends and grill guard. Gas and temperature gauges work, speedometer stopped working last week . The paint is over 10 years old and has a few chips but still looks good. Look the pictures over and ask any questions you may have. Car is located in Church Hill, Tn. 37642. Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
