CLEAN AND CLEAR NEVADA TITLE

Car has been sitting in a garage since last being registered in 2009.   My father in law and I got it started and running on January 23rd, 2014.   It took about five tries and rumbled to life, it sounded great!   I have a video of the engine running available for serious buyers.

Independent Mechanic inspection is welcome and encouraged prior to bidding and or purchase.   I am honest, I list accurately what I know, however I AM NOT A MECHANIC!   I am not a car expert.   If you have a specific question I will try to answer it within 24 hours as the car is not stored at my home and I will have to go there to attempt an accurate answer.   However, BUYER BEWARE, there is no warranty, expressed or implied.   If you buy this car you should expect some repairs to be necessary.

This vehicle was purchased to cruise during the Summer and at Hot August Nights in hot and dry Reno Nevada.   It was never used during the winter by the current owner and was always garaged.   Elderly husband bought it for his wife who loved and enjoyed this car.   The husband who took care of the car and knew the most about it has passed and it is time for new owners to love and enjoy this car.

As mentioned the car needs some work here and there to be perfect, most 59 year old cars do, however the starting price is much lower than others that are perfect.   There is no reserve the starting price is the lowest acceptable price.

I will not arrange shipping, that is the buyer's responsibility.   I will meet the shipper at an agreed appointment to take custody of the vehicle.   The vehicle will need to be paid for in cashier's check prior to removal.   A $625 deposit via paypal needs to be made by the winning bidder at the close of auction to guarantee the sale.

Please check my feedback and bid with confidence!   I am an honest eBayer!

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.

Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
