Could be a sweet drag or gasser project. I bought the car thinking I was going to restore it. Well all it did was sit on my lawn. I would rather see someone else enjoy it

No title
No vin
No interior
I do have a fender tag but I was told it is not the original one. There is absolutely no way to prove it is original.
Car can roll and turn freely
NO IDEA how many miles were on this car
No motor or transmission
Does come with enclosed driveshaft and rear end

Comes with the below parts and absolutely nothing else:

Steering wheel with no horn ring
doors (no window regulators or latches, or handles)
trunk (hinges and springs work great)
hood (has hinges but no springs)
rear bumper and mounting brackets
grille, and splash guard (sides of grille are rotted, splash guard has rot)
front subframe with full steering box and column assembly (lower control arms are rotting but car still supports its own weight)
4 wheels with 4 old tires
Automatic shifter
Gas tank with float.
Fenders (small bit of rot on bottoms. passenger side was hit and 2" x 8" dent needs to be smoothed out)

Car condition:

Body is rusty but the frame seems to be in great shape for the age. There is one small spot of frame rot near where the rear bumper mounts. It is the size of a pencil and there are two holes or so. The main frame rails looked good. Roof has some dents on it. I was told a tree fell on it. the dent is the size of half of a baseball.

Any questions contact me. Please review the condition of the car before placing a bid. I will happily email any buyer any pictures.

CAR IS SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY IMPLIED. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED FOR ANY REASON.

NOTE:

CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I HAVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY, AND AT ANY TIME

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
