Has 3 inch lowering blocks in rear, cut 2 coils up front. Its not quite as low as it looks in the pictures but it is a huge improvement. Rear Spring mounts appear to have been moved at some point then shoddily welded back on and held in place by u bolts. I have never had any problems with this while I have had it, however. A good welder could take care of this in no time.
Brand new hubcaps all around. Tires are fair. Original Spare in trunk.
Plug in your Ipod for tunes. 75 watt amp and new 6x9 speaker in place of the original. Original radio lights up but does not work.
Front seat is nice, rear seat has a covering over it. I took the ratty headliner out. Dash looks nice. Chrome is not perfect. Carpet appears to be an old replacement.
Floors are ok. The front pans have been redone at some point with some thin gauge metal, the trunk floor is the same way.
Car runs good. it has a slight sputter when idling but runs great down the road. It has a pointless petronix ignition system and runs off of an alternator. It uses a little bit of oil and loses a little water but not to any great extent. I put a quart of oil in every now and then and usually top the water off every couple weeks. The choke does not work, it has an aftermarket accelerator pedal and uses a cable instead of the stock linkage, which blocks the choke.
Theres is a little bit of play in the steering. Everything under there appears to be original so some of it is probably a little sloppy.
Brakes are decent. I went through and honed 2 cylinders and replaced 1. The other one was replaced before I bought the car and doesnt appear to be that old. I accidently bled air back into the lines when I was bleeding them and I just havent wanted to get down and bleed em again. I will fix that this weekend sometime.
Headlights work, dim and bright, tailights and brakelights work. The rear blinkers were working before I disconnected the front to paint the grill. I think they just need to be grounded out. The speedometer makes an awful racket when connected so I disconnected the cable. The dome light works.
Paint is chipping on the hood and around the rear "fins". It looks good from 20 feet away. There is bondo in the trunk and in the rear quarter. There is probably some around the fender wells also, but I do not know the extent. There is rust in the quarter panels. They are ok for a daily driver but in a restoration you would probably want to replace them. There are a few dings on the roof.
Wipers are not hooked up and are missing the arms. I don't know if the "motor" works.
I have probably left something out, please feel free to ask if you would like to know anything more or get more pictures. I'm trying to be as honest as possible. There is a lot that needs work, but it is a fun neat car that I drive to town often and is a good start. Im just looking now for a new project.
EDIT: Needs parking brake cable, and igntion switch does not use key. Ignition switch works fine otherwise.

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
