Mint condition 2007 Chevy Avalanche LT - Fully Loaded
I bought this truck in 2010, certified pre-owned from Paradise Chevy in Temecula I purchased with extended warranty and all oil/changes and maintenance has been performed by Paradise. The truck has used as my daily commuter with mainly freeway miles on it, it has never skipped a beat in the 3 and half years I have owned it. Runs like a champ, I didn't really want to sell it but I got a really good deal on a 2012 Avalanche so I decided to replace it. The avalanche is the best truck on the market and there is nothing else like it. It drives like an SUV yet has the flexibility of a pick up truck. No matter what you are doing this truck gets the job done. 2007 Chevy Avalanche LT 4x4 Pewter Automatic, 4x4 option Black leather interior Heated seats 2 pre set electric seat options garage door controls sun roof rear TV with headphones DVD player Bose speakers all around automatic windows cruise control 20in wheels Falken tires, new last year Tow package Bed covers This truck is fully loaded the only thing it does not have is the sat nav that comes in the LTZ version. Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes
Tue, 28 Aug 2012
Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
