I have for sale my 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche. Exterior color is dark gray and interior is gray as well. I have owned this truck for about five years with no major issues. It has a 5.3 liter V-8 engine and currently has approximately 140k miles. It runs and drives very well and the tires were replaced recently (within the last year). It has a cloth interior and tow package. It has been well-maintained & has always served me well. The only issues are a couple of rust bubbles on the rear quarter panels, it is a little loud while in four wheel drive, and has one blown speaker (I can’t remember which one). The check engine light has been on for quite a while. I had the code looked up and it was just a standard fuel-related code. I added a fuel cleaner additive & was told the light may go out on its own. If you have any questions, please message me & I will do my best to answer them. I have the truck up for sale locally & reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. The truck is sold as-is & I will require a $1,000 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours & the balance within 7 days. The title does have a lien against it so the buyer will need to meet me at my local credit union to execute the transaction. The truck will need to be picked up w/in three weeks upon the end of the auction. If completely paid for, I may be able to store it longer while transportation issues are worked by the buyer. Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.

General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.

Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year.
